What manner do you tackle these from bare,do you prime them starting time then couple of coats of masonry. I observe a lot of sills bubble when wet and start to peel.

Glaze of this or any stabilising solution and you will have no problems with peeling or blistering on concrete sills

Yes a good primer will work ..Zinsser 123 or the like are skillful, as Concrete has a loftier PH Value..H2o based primers are much more than tolerant of that moisture and high alkalinity. . Acrylic primers requite much meliorate surface gripping ability if the surface is tight and hot (high PH)., as is usually the instance with fresh concrete and older un coated masonry surfaces. :winky:

Alkalinity was never the reason stabilising solution was used to foreclose blistering or peeling pigment on pre- formed cills or lintils. Blistering and peeling was establish to exist caused by WB exterior paints reacting with the surface release oil that was used in the moulds that the concrete cill would hands release when dry. Y'all will also find that the lesser surface of cills never blistered or peeled as they were sunny side up in the mould and never made contact with the surface release oil.:winky:
